Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is heading to AT&T and it's being shown off here tonight at the the carrier's press event in New York City. Previously only available in the United States on Verizon, the Playstation phone as most call it will be coming to Big Blue by the end of the year in both black and dark blue colorings. It will also be sporting 4G connectivity, but no word yet on if it's HSPA+ or LTE.
There's no word on pricing or an exact launch date as of yet, and the reps here at the event are only saying "by the end of the year."

@ComputerLunarVidGamR It's a prototype, it was probably assembled by someone in the Western world who doesn't assemble phones all day.
Well...I'm pretty sure that a lot of prototypes are made wherever the offices are. You can't just get a big Chinese factory to assemble a few devices.

Because Apple are fucking with FCP and ditching professionals, I think I might get this next instead of the next iPhone.
But I'm not all that into gaming to give much of a crap...and my 3GS still works so I probably won't get a new phone for a while.

I find funny how this prototype PLAY has the buttons basically rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. Weird...
