@MarloweDK That's your best sounding bass so far.

@MarloweDK Ahhh so jealous. I recently bought my first music man a couple months ago used from this guy for $900. It is a 1994 Stingray with limited edition Oxblood finish he said, and it has a flamed maple fingerboard. Nothing compared to a 77 I am sure but MMs are the best. I enjoy your playing!

@4848277 I've gotta come to Marlowe's defense here. I think it's not only clear what he's playing, but it's useful that he plays in a relaxed manner which illustrates how one *should* play. While I understand the desire to see each note laid out as plainly as possible, that only goes so far in instructing players how to play the part. And it's *good*, IMO, that you're watching the (very important) right hand so closely. :-)

MarloweDK: I see you have an affinity for Dorian :) Question: Do you only play dorian patterns and fills when the chart would have the key in dorian? Ex: A song's in the key of C and a couple bars are the Dm.... OR do you overlay the Dorian stuff over other minors A dorian in a song that's in C? OR do you just move into the dorian pattern for fills and whatnot, but resolve the fill on a more correct root? (Song in C, playing over Am section using D dorian resolving to the A) Thanks.

@stringbassist Use Dorien a lot when playing over a single minor chord , but of course I play Am aolian/C major when in chord progression you suggest C to Am.
Look at my video "Improvising in a minor chord progression"
