(Halloween Special) Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse - Final Boss + Sypha's Ending

Don't worry, the rest of my Zelda 2 rom hack playthrough will be coming, but first a Virtual Console video I recorded a long time ago but never uploaded. In honor of Halloween I thought I'd upload it now. So here it is: a near-perfect final boss fight in Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse for the NES.

Despite what the Angry Video Game Nerd said in his second video of his Castlevania marathon, Dracula's first form really isn't that hard. You have to distance yourself from him when he prepares to shoot up his flames. That way, the flames will be more spread out and then you can have more room to dodge the third flame. Sypha's fire spell also helps.

Dracula's second form is again, not that hard. Just be careful not to get trapped in the corner. Now his third form can be a pain. As you can see in the video, his laser fire can be quite erratic. Might be a glitch or something, I really don't know. But anyway, you have to hit Dracula's head all while riding moving platforms, avoiding laser fire, and being careful not to fall down the holes created by the platforms. Sounds like a full plate to me.

Man, Sypha rapes face. We got in the biggest arguments over if Sypha was a boy or girl. "Take him with you? Leave him behind?" Even her icon on the top right of the screen looked like a chick and they were like "It's a beard, man!" Oh, but the day she pulled her hood back and let her hair drop down... Victory was mine!

actually sypha's japanese name is "Syfa" (japanese dont use "ph" like we do.. such as the name phil = fu - i - ru and thats 3 seperate japanese symbols with the first "u" being silent(there is an "fi" symbol but i always see fu - i for such things)) also belmonts name in japanese was belmondo... belmont is the mistake or shall i say "remake" of the name... the U.S. team didnt like belmondo
