2001 Laguna 1.9 DCi.
This happens when the ignition is turned on. After a period of time (20seconds - a couple of minutes) the clocks go back to normal operation. The fault seems to be temperature related...the colder the temp the longer the fault persists before normal operation of the clocks.

  • KoudZ, how do you update the firmware?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for the advice.

Having researched this problem it turns out that the problem is the Motorola MC68HC908AZ60 processor that controls the dashpod. The processor doesn't like the cold & refuses to start causing this fault...eventually it warms itself up & works.

The processor needs to be changed to repair this fault.

    Cheers.
