Phase One lenses - http://www.phaseone.com/lenses
Watch pro photographer Peter Eastway introducing digital lenses from Phase One and Schneider-Kreuznach.
The highest resolution sensors with the greatest dynamic range is just one link in a high quality chain of equipment and processes. That's why Phase One is paying so much attention to the lenses you use with the digital backs.
The modular approach allows you to use large format digital lenses with technical cameras, or you can attach the best glass in the world to your Phase One 645DF camera.
There are several different ranges of lenses you can use on the 645DF beginning with Phase One's own high-quality optics for the 645 format. At the wide angle end is the 28 mm which is the equivalent of a 17 mm ultra wide-angle lens on a 35 mm DSLR. From here you can choose from seven other focal lengths from 35 mm to one 150 mm.
In addition to the Phase One optics are four Schneider-Kreuznach leaf shutter lenses. The advantage of the leaf shutter is that it permits fast flash synchronization shutter speeds. Up to 1/1600 s compared to 1/125 s with the focal plane shutter. Fashion and advertising photographers benefit from the leaf shutters in the studio but everyone can take advantage of Schneider's incredibly sharp lenses.
Choose from 55 mm, 80 mm, 110 mm, and a 150. The fifth Schneider lens is a 120 mm tilt-shift model for studio work. There's also a new 120 mm Phase One auto focus macro lens. Another useful addition is a set of extension tubes allowing all the lenses to focus more closely.
With the Phase One lens mount you have access to a huge range of Mamiya 645 lenses, and if you use a special mount adaptor you can use Hasselblad V series lenses as well.
