POPULAR doctor Hilary Jones, GP and media doctor, presents First aid for seizures, a new video released by the charity Epilepsy Action, which can now be seen on BHTV.

The video informs viewers how to administer first aid in the case of a seizure. It takes a practical approach, combining Dr Hilary's clear narrative with role play to discuss epilepsy, its causes and different seizure types, as well as first aid techniques.

Epilepsy is the UK's most common serious neurological condition affecting an estimated 456,000 people. Therefore Epilepsy Action have been striving to raise more awareness of the condition and what to do in the event of a seizure.

  • This is very useful video of the seizure first aid, I had about five tonic-clonic seizures all in 2 years before in my life so far (Go's from 3 Months, 5 Months, 7 Months to 9 Months - 2 Extra Months of each same seizure -) only in my bedroom and I know one person (She's a girl around her 20s I think) who had tonic-clonic seizure every month at the college I go to, around about lunch time when I was around having my lunch but talking to friends about it and we're feeling sorry for her

  • very useful, thx

  • I had a complex partial seizure walking home from school once, I walked up to the front door of the wrong house, embarrassing because there were people I knew walking a bit behind me and I wasn't even on my street yet.
