Janeway has more balls than Picard.

You obviously didn't watch much voyager, later in this same episode she says screw it and disables the ships escorting voyager and does their own thing.

@Draco1985m Neelix. Hell in ''Void'',even Tuvok and chakotay wanted to shit on the prime Directive to stay Alive...and Janeway in year of hell,Equinox,Scientific method was in no way a by the book Starfleet officer lol she broke every rule possible to save her ship and crew. i just don't get how you people criticize these things...do you forgot most of the episodes you watch? XD

@Draco1985m Also by the Time episode day of honor was launched Tom and Belanna were in love(1maquis1starfleet)...ther
e was always a few issues here and there, but the Borg wanted to assimilate them,Species 8472 crush them,Hirogens hunt them,Malons pollute them,Vidiians harvest there organs etc so don't think its a logical idea to kill each other only coz we are political enemies lol,and you just don't remember how many times they wanted to dump the starfleet regulations, not only -
@Draco1985m In every 2 part episodes, like Scorpion,Equinox etc...Chakotay goes against Janeways method's etc...and now allow me to list episodes that will get you back on track Displaying Maquis issues,"Parallax",Prime Factors,State of flux,Learning curve,Maneuvers,Alliances,Wors
t case Scenario, and here you have Basics that ended the Feud, along side Resolutions clearly stating that Chakotay was in love with janeway. -
@miloootic And as for Starfleet and Maquis... When were they seriously at odds? I mean other than a single, random character (mostly B'Elanna) stirring up trouble? Even Chakotay was Janeway's bitch pretty much from the second he came on board. And yes, they want to go home. But there was rarely any character (except for Neelix) who suggested canning all the starfleet regulations and exploration BS to just get home faster, which was the whole POINT of the show.
-
@miloootic Actually, I like the show. It's Star Trek after all. But it doesn't change the fact that characters were poorly written (with Janeway at the top of the list) and yes, the premise WAS wasted. Look at Enterprise Season 3 or Voyagers own Year Of Hell. That's what COULD have been: An increasingly banged-up ship with a lonely, desperate crew, on its way home through a dangerous galaxy. What we actually GOT was closer to a bunch of guys on a lighthearted adventure trip.
-
@Draco1985m how was the premise wasted exactly?lol. you just didn't like the show. that doesn't make it bad. the crews in the first 2 seasons were always at each others throat. but after Basics(marooned on an inhospitable planet they adapted and respected each other since their primary goal was survival) over the years the became Friends and bonded well together. just imagine being the only humans 70 years away from home lol not a good idea to fight <.< better work together toget hom

@LexaJay It's from the episode titled "Body and Soul" -- the one where Seven downloads the Doctor into her cybernetic matrix, thus giving him control over her body.
