Green Mamba Jet Car - Rockford Speedway 7.19.09

"The Green Monster is powered by a J46 jet engine out of a Navy F7U Cutlass Fighter Plane. The engine burns 37 Gallons of Jet fuel a minute. The Car weighs 3,318 pounds and has a top speed of over 300 MPH."

Well, we had it advertised as the Green Mamba, and apparently it's the first car to top 300 MPH on the Salt Flats in Utah. We got to see this thing essentially incinerate two vehicles stacked on top of one another. I saw this back in July and decided when it came back I was going to film it. Here it is.
