  • But did you ride up it????

  • No, but what is the difference? I did the dirt trails on a MTBike. It was a 42 mile ride and in the middle I added 2400 feet of climbing on some single track trails before the descent.

Do you think you could climb all 10,000ft on boring pavement? Why would you want to?

  • @ag I'm planning on moving there after college how's condo prices in kihei?

  • do you have to go on mamane or can you go strait down to the ballpark

  • Thank you for sharing this video.

  • @youEwetube the answer is..."EEET FUK FAG!.....and of course "Mahalo"

  • I did that! It was freakin awesome and scary!

  • I can answer a few of those questions for you, the trail is called sky line, and yes it starts at the magnetic peak, its perfectly legal the trail goes through federal and state property and a public recreational area, but i would advise you to where bright colors because the trail goes through a public goat hunting area and there is a hell of a lot of shooting that goes on up there, I'm going to go on that same trail pretty soon it looks like a blast

  • what is the trail name? sliding sands? do you ride from the magnetic peak, all the way down to Piilani hwy? is it leagal? how long does it take ride/shuttle? what route does your shuttle take? and how bad does it hurt when your done?

looks like a badass trip, I would really like to try it when I visit next fall.

  • Just bustin your chops. That was an awesome video, I didn't know an offroad trail down Haleakala existed. I rode up it and down it on the road and would have loved to do the off road version.
