Does the "kneading" mean she is hungry? From what I have read, it's a kitten thing from when they were feeding from their Mum and that's how they got the milk out. Is this true?

she does the 'kneading' alot... adorable! she is in the cage as she was a stray that just came to our door a couple of hours prior. we have 3 small dogs and 2 house cats and I didn't know if she was contagious so I kept her in the crate over night till i could get her to a vet/ad in the paper, various phone calls and no one came forward for her... she is now spayed and with us till I can find her a 'prrrrr-fect fur-ever home. she is on petfinder... thanks for stopping by!
