Really excellent work, I've found your tutorials invaluable, I'm a complete nube to video editing, but blagged my boss I could do it. Your videos really saved my bacon.
Many thanks!

A perfect example of why I am considering not spending the time to learn Lightworks, as the time required to learn all these pointless work arounds could be better spent. Time is money and a more usable editor, even an expensive one would represent a huge saving. I really had big hopes but after spending a day with it am disappointed.

I still cant manage to make an image fade in/out during the video using the keyframes, any help on that would be very helpful.
I want an image to slowly fade in onto the front of the video and then slowly fade out.

i was hoping if this could be as easy as windows movie maker for combining image and audio. great software anyway. will check more on your tutorial. thanks buddy.

I've been using Lightworks since the Beta version came out and just got a console and it really makes editing smoother and faster. And just the ability to be in control is just a bonus

Is there any way to make a time lapse video with Lightworks? I mean, can you import a series of still images as footage perhaps like you can in After Effects?

@dvstudiosproductions I used the format is the image png with alpha channel. I'm trying to make photo video footage.
What is your image quality when you export? The new version 10. 0.5 will be bug fixes to work with pictures? I have a image after the export is of poor quality. Picture is smeared with moire. The original photo is the size of the project. I tried to picture size larger but if there are problems with exports.

@Hatab41 what format is the image? (ie. png, jpg, gif) also, make sure the resolution is the same as the project

Can you make an image and text video only? Like showing an image fading into view then text appears.

@sschhuu that might be possible. I'll let you know if we decide to do that one.

Can you make a tutorial on more advanced effects like green screen, etc. for those who don't have after effects or vision lab?
