It looks like Occupy MCR is occupied but by abandoned homeless people in need of shelter not people who have made a political stance. I could be wrong but this is what i witnessed and is my personal impression.
I visited the "Occupation" in St Peters Square's on 15th Oct in the Peace Gardens to give my support and was greeted by a couple of questionable looking men at the makeshift SW gate who couldn't give me a coherent reason why they were there. Where are those who really understand the movement and have the political knowledge to bring information and the appropriate message to the public?
