Looks like he mostly used the slider. What sort of Fastball did Lefty have?
-
I've been looking for his grips forever...can't seem to find
-
@roscoegino ok thanks:)

@jason60152 In baseball, a slider (also known as a yakker, a snapper, or a spinner) is a pitch that breaks laterally and down, with a speed between that of a curveball and that of a fastball.
-
@roscoegino How can you tell he is throwing a slider?
-
One of the greatest pitchers, not just lefties, in the history of baseball. Still has the nastiest slider I've ever seen,

What you are not seeing eusabri. Is how he set up the hitter thru the count. Lefty would go 3 or 4 innings without throwing a breaking ball You have to remember these are all strike three outs. The beauty of how he got to over 4000 K's is how he set up a hitter. I just dont have the footage. Check out his FB fan page. He post some good things there.
