Watch me take apart a Kahler 7300 tremolo system, section by section, piece by piece and then re-assemble it all within 10 minutes, giving you a visual idea of what makes a Kahler cam system different than a Fulcrum system. 84 pieces in all, The Kahler cam systems are the most adaptable and adjustable tremolos in the world.

  • yes you still have to route. ALL Kahler trems need a route.

  • I have Kahlers on both my guitars. A 2200 and a 2300 they are both from the 80's the 2200 is one of the first Kahlers made. I want to replace both Kahlers with new ones. Does the 2200 and 2300 Pro Series come with the lock and load bridge does it lock? Like the Hybrids.

  • Yes all guitar tremolos now lock. FYI: Old trems that have model numbers that start with a 2 or (pro series) are handmade today. They were not handmade in the 80's. The handmade line is new. The numbers were taken and replaced with the 7xxx series. The Hybrid is the equivalent of the pro series of the 80's. The steel can be added on "aftermarket". That is why the price diff between the pro and the hybrids.

  • im gonna get one of these installed on a black ibanez rg120. cant decide between black or gold though

  • Black is hard to distinguish and in my opinion gold hardware on a black guitar looks bad ass.

  • @wammiworld but that however would eliminate the possibility for a future paint job which has lots of red in it. ill decide later though

  • Whatever you decide I am sure you will be happy with the Kahler. Good luck!

  • Question, I decided to opt for the kahler 7200 because my guitar has a stoptail, do i still have to route the body and shit ?

  • lol ur description ses piece by piece- thats a slayer song and both guitarists use kahlers :D

  • The Hybrids are made in the USA factory while the Pro's like the 2315 are made in a machine shop by hand. The X-Trems are made in China for import OEM guitars.
