WotLK: Mirror Image (Mage Spell) - Outdated

While this video does show you Mirror Image... This video is outdated as Mirror Image has been upgraded a bit since this video came out.

Bug Fixes:
-Clones no longer carry that weird sword and shield.
-Clones immediately vanish when they die. (Most likely done because of the Death Knight ability to spawn minions out of corpses.)
-Hairstyles match correctly.
-Mirror Images are no longer named "Mirror Image." They are instead named whatever your name is. (For example, my Mage on Beta is named Azuria. You'll have 3 mage clones named Azuria.)

Gameplay examples of the new mage spell, Mirror Image. The spell makes 3 additional reflections of you for 30 seconds. The cooldown is 3 minutes. The copies currently in beta cast low level ranks of Frostbolt. Rumor has it that the Frostbolt will be replaced with Frostfire, though.

The copies appear exactly as you are... Aside from the current bugs in beta, in which new hairstyles don't reflect correctly. Another thing is that an odd shield and sword appear from nowhere, even when you don't even have a weapon or off-hand equipped. The sword will also appear when the copies die.

I apologize for the fact that my mage is so tiny. I used a Murmer realm premade copy to create this mage. I already had an alliance on the server so I had to create another alliance. Sorry that she's so tiny!

There's also a bug... or an intended feature, I'm not sure yet... in which the copies teleport you back to them if you run away.

Also, not included in the video... currently on beta Invisibility is instant cast, and can be used in battle. You can summon your reflections then cast Invisibility, and not be attacked.

My copies had roughly 2000-2800hp each. They're fairly weak, but since there's 3 of them, they're rather confusing unless your class can easily AoE them down.

I think mirror image is what every mage has been waiting for. But i think it is alittle Op...I am a beast mastery hunter...and my pet can hardly solo a mob my level by itself...but mirror image can take 2-3 mobs alone without any user attacks. Thats kind of stacked and i dont really like it...but i suppose you should enjoy it while it last.

i got a question, say you were in warsong gulch and you get the flag, u use the spell but does it make copies with flag so it can confuse who is the real one or not?

here is a tactic that I just thought now, that can be usueful in pvp (avaible only for frost mages) You cast poly on your target and you summon mirror image after that you start casting frostbolt too, it would mean alot of dmg, the enemy will panic and forget about your mirror and jump on you that's when you frostnova and blink xD
