I loved this film as a kid... and I see how wonderful it really is now that I am an adult! I love that Beth and Jody admire and are inspired by a woman (Molly Morgan) who didn't follow the norm and was adventurous. This film shows young girls that you can have an adventurous spirit and that you can take care of yourself.

The first time I saw the part where Jody accidently showed her bruise to Beth, I had made the same comment that Beth had made. It was a scene that changed Beth's perspective on her. And how something about Jody held good things. Poor Jody, yet thank God she had a friend like Beth!!

wow the girl who played beth was an exellent line reader. Like when she said what are you talking about like she was really in the moment. The way she says some of the lines kind of makes you feel it like when they were talking about the cut on her back like my stomache was empty LOVE THIS MOVIE
