???? Me and the wife camp there twice a year for a week or so and have never had any trouble....They depend on tourism there so a speed trap does not make a lot of sense. The game wardens are strict as hell though, but they have to be with all of the boat traffic there.

signs are clearly posted that the speed limit drops to 50 mph. HOw does that make it a speed trap? The reason for the drop in speed is that there are several intersections with traffic lights and many motorists were getting killed on rt. 19 through summersville. Death rates have fallen tremendously since enforcing the speed limit. I live in Summersville and have NEVER gotten pulled over, even when i had florida tags for two years.
