  • What does the 'FC' mean?

  • @ShadowdaHedgie11 FC = Famicom

  • Actually, Rockman 7-FC intro and mid stages have some of their sprites on the site, but not in the game. Maybe this stages will be on 8, or maybe not. But is true that the password system will be present, and this sucks, like the Roll's store. Even Megaman 4 and 5 for the Game Boy have a store, and they are 8-bits.

  • i cant read jappeniese

  • @Jarock316 well, it's not like there's only one person working on it, right?

  • @metroidfannumber1

As I said, it's easier said than done. Somethings need to be added to the game engine, such as the shop and bolts and items from said shop, because they didn't exist in the original 6 NES games. There's also coding for attacks, collisions and damages for the new 8-Bit enemies that were only in the 32-Bit 8. There also have to be some changes to stage layouts so you don't need a certain RB weapon to get through, which takes more time to program.

  • @Jarock316 wouldn't that be easier?

  • @metroidfannumber1

Not that easy I'm afraid. You got somethings that would only work in 32-Bit that wouldn't translate well in 8-Bit. The game engine also has to be modified for 8-Bit, which takes quite a while to do. Also you got to fix the music so it doesn't cut out when its done, only to play again after a few seconds of nothing.

Checked the site, they did make the intro stage and the boss, but choose not to add them because they wanted to keep to the limit a NES cart could hold and a whole stage like that would of put it over the limit. It's even linked to Duo's Stage, which also got the ax.

  • when will this be finished?

  • @Servbot01 And Famicom = Family Computer, right?

  • IM LAUGHING MY ASS OFF AT THE Dr.Wily THEME!

  • ...what is with rush's face?
