e6400 at 2.13ghz(stock) i think this is the bottle neck

look up evga precision download it then overclock(move numbers up slowly.

(cont'd) and oc to anything that can run the game without stutter or screen tear because if that happens the card is overheating and thats hell a bad for your card but why dont you grab a 8800gt thats probs what im ganna get its like 70$ now but yeah try that

hey try an oc but yeah this is optimised poorly because it doesnt look that good and it requires more then games like assassins creed. but yeah try an oc on that its a bit worse(basically a 8500gt so half the power) but should be able to run it on low or medium settings try 1024 x 768 with low shadows and medium graphics
