Actually I grew up in Quebec and have been in storms so severe I've seen waterspouts on the St. Lawrence River accompanied by ball lightning.
The worse storm I've seen here in Nova Scotia was spring of 2001 when I saw a sheet of hail approaching across the Valley from the North Mountain. It was like somebody drew a thick, white curtain across the land. A few minutes later we had marble-sized hail pelting off our roof and collecting in a heap on the ground. It was a good one.

Yes, it was that storm. I've never seen so much lightning. You got an awesome shot of it in your video.

obviously you never grew up down there! i remember as a kid we'd get them so intense ,i loved it! they would sound vicious.. this storm is peanuts!
