I guess Directv is carrying KSWB-DT on 69 so just turn to that for the HD fox 5. The SD channel is also 69. Directv uses the same number for both SD and HD. For those with HD Directv hardware you might want to map 69 to the HD version so it won't be confusing.

If Directv can get XETV and KSWB then they will get the new stations. XETV hasn't planned their hd local news and it won't be for a while. The no HD local news is from XETV themself.

No timeline for local HD news on XETV. I'm sure they will consider it later. KGTV, KNSD, KSWB, and KUSI have yet to HD. KSWB will be HD for their local news from the get go.

Thank goodness! I was a little worried about XETV going independent, they deserve The CW. Kind of funny that XETV is gonna air "90210" once again, like they did in the 90s.

BREAKING NEWS: San Diego 6 will also be the CW affiliate for San Diego. Now the primetime will be solved. I guess they wanted it. I hope they get their HD working. The great thing is that you can watch CW in HD :). This is from Gary Stigall who is the director of engineering so my source was correct. I guess FTVLive was correct.

Maybe one of the days they will have a movie block. MyNetwork which is fox's 2nd tier station has a movie block on Thursday and Friday I think for primetime.

Chrissy Russo is going to Fox 5. Thats why her profile was deleted. On fox 5 she will do weather and traffic. Hope this helps.
