  • @lexsoft Can't neglect the size and the build of the person. It seems that too many people try to minimize their SPL that they move in jerks (which is exactly what she cautions against with sudden acceleration). There is a balance point:)

  • The article in effortless-swimming web site is useful to achieve good SPL.

  • I think Stroke per length (SPL) depends on several elements. The main one is powerful catch and pull, because this is the main source of propulsion, the second one is powerful kicking which can contribute up to 10% of propulsion. Physical condition naturally determines the SPL.

  • I swim here! It's RSD (rancho san dieguito) boys and girls club in San diego. I saw her do this!
