We are just about done with the new "peafowl and larger bird pens". Each pen has a 4" pipe that runs underground and is regulated by an automatic watering device. All the water trays are connected. A master valve at the end allows you to open and drain the watering trays when its time to clean the watering trays in each pen. It is very easy to water the birds. The only thing I have left to do is setup the shaded area and the perches.

  • Hi, Could you explain the materials used for the floatation device. The Pens are beautiful. I want to construct one like yours.

  • Wow how much for the build

  • Pretty cool set up. My brother and I are breeding other birds and selling them, Our breeds are chickens, ducks, quail, pigeons, and doves. we planned to get into Peafowl, pheasants, and turkeys. I like how you've got everything set up especially your lengths to security from predators. I laughed at the comment you made: "I've got four indian blue hens, two indian blue males" (hen flies down) "....and chickens."

  • Do you ever have to cover your pens in colder weather? I love your setup, I am in the process of building a spot for my soon to be pair of peacocks. Did you ever have any problems with putting ur chickens and peafowl together?
