I recommend removing the heat exchangers and put in direct exhaust with the J-tubes coming from the back of the valve heads, increases about 10hp and sounds a lot better.

if he runs an early bus tranny he will have lower gearing, thus allowing bigger tires. its not a bad idea to take some trailing arms off of a light duty pickup, toyota is an easy source, and fab them onto the swing arm and rear pan cross member. with that done it will get better traction and be hard to break anything with better tread and that tq monster engine.
