  • @remzrider107 we talked about it afterwards and had a few laughs about it. the laugh during the battle was because he went gungho and was flicking me off - which i wasn't a part of the battle haha

  • @tcao01 Yeah I agree, I think he originally got the idea from bboy Kevetic who told me, him, and a few other people about it at a jam last summer. Kevetic said that if you call someone on biting at the right moment during their set, it will cause them to pause for a moment to think, and they can forget what they were going to do in that set. But if it's not done right, it can cause you to lose some credibility.

PS, was Tom the one that laughed it off like "wtf"?

  • @remzrider107 case in pt to #1: close with first degree & since it was their first official entry into a battle, wanted to get the feedback from judges, crowd etc. in regards to the biting; the bboy you 'messed with' already threw his round so he was more confused than frazzled (if you choose to do this before the round happened), two of the judges i chatted with - one of them didn't get the biting sign thrown and the other laughed it off like 'wtf' kinda deal. w/e'z to each his own yeah?

  • @remzrider107 i get the battle mentality, that speaks for itself. but there's gotta be some logic to it; calling ppl out on their hairstyle, clothing, style of dance, what they're drinking on the sideline. but randomly calling bite on coindrops and universal foundation? to each his own but imo 1. you end up making yourself look questionable at best and lose some credibility as well 2. from my exp. most that do this, don't react too well when others randomly mess w/ their mentality either lol

  • @tcao01 I battled him in a 1v1 and the entire time he kept calling me for biting, crashing, and repeating when I wasn't biting, crashing, or repeating. He later explained to me that he does this to fuck with his opponent, which I suppose has some logic to it

  • @sheik08 lol right? hilarious. that was as much of a bite as the foundation footwork homeboy did in the next round bwaha

  • he did a coindrop..lmao "biting"
