Make a static grass applicator with an electric fly swatter: Part 2

This is part 2 of a 3 part series on how to make a "Poor Man's" static grass applicator out of an electronic fly swatter. I had read a forum post over at trains.com that this could be done and I had to try it myself. If you play your cards right, you'll spend less than 10 dollars to make this thing. hey why dont you try soldering the wire to the mesh. ather way NICE WORK like it vary mutch

It was just easier for demo purposes to hook the spade to the screen. I'm going to be building a more powerful applicator that runs on 120 volt AC. That one will be a bit more expensive to make(and a bit trickier).  I just wanted to give this a try and see how well it worked. For the money it works OK.

I just wonder why you dont remove the old cable permantely and solder the new cable directly to the mobo?

Should have soldered the wire directly to the metal handle piece.

Thankyou! I'm a gran, and yours has been the easiest video to follow!. Well done. I have all of this stuff in the cupboard. PS: The soup won't be getting strained anymore but this static grass gadget was easy to make and it worked well enough on my small layout.
