Great uke been looking for one to surf with on a warm glassy day for Video purpose. Great find n set up.

For surfing, my latest find would work even better: a 1950s "Lisa" styrene ukulele. About as waterproof as a uke can get. And the intonation's right on it, unlike on the SB uke.

I know. I wish it were so. I'll bet someone has taken a nice ukulele and "SpongeBobbed" it. I know I'll see one one of these days.

I haven't tried that model. Did you tighten the screws on the tuners? Also, new strings always take a bit of time to settle in. And I put better strings on this one for a better sound.

Bottom line is that these are pretty much novelties that you can squeeze a tune out of the cowboy end, but not too much more. Best of luck.
