Generally a good device, however...
There are serious issues;
Firstly the screen surface is very reflective and thus acts like a mirror.
Secondly the remote is infrared and the receiver is located in the screen. thus if you put the screen up on your dash at eye level you have to point the remote at it every time you want to use it. this can get annoying plus means the remote is rolling round your car. a wired or RF remote would be better.
Lastly, this unit could deal with ground loop noise.

For those who are complaining about it, put setting on "Wire Transmitter" and Bluetooth speaker volume on (2).
The only problem I have is where I change music, it takes longer than it should be. Other than that, this device is great. Alpine are beasts!

can u upload a video on how to install it in you car! like step by step..coz the instruction manual is shit house! doesn't give u diagrams or ANYTHING.. a few words and yeah.. when the box has many wires... thanks..

Installing into each car will be different based on the type of stereo used, how you'll connect for audio and power, and of course, where you'll mount the eX-10.
So, instead, just give us a call. If you bought it from us, you get free tech support from real installers in one of our Virginia Customer Care Centers.
