Watch the progress of my graphite pencil portrait of Blue, a National Show Horse (Arabian x Saddlebred cross) gelding, as it is being drawn.

This portrait was done in graphite pencil (6H - 6B) on bristol paper. It is 9 inches by 12 inches and took about 8 hours to draw.
