Dangerously Atheistic

The argument is as follows:

Atheism believes that since there is no afterlife to experience once dead, there is no emphasis on this eternity. However, it is factual that a human is dead longer then alive. Therefore, there must be emphasis in valuing the state one becomes when entering this eternity. (It could also provide an escape to the atheist to avoid being accountable to their actions). If improperly prepared it could lead to terrible results. Therefore, for one to acquire atheistic values is dangerous to one's own future.

I'm not sure you've really grasped the concept of atheism. Atheists aren't mad at God, they don't accept the hypothesis that there *is* a God, or Allah, or Zeus, or Ba'al or Shiva, or any of the other deities.

On values: surely people who believe that there is no afterlife value life MORE than those who believe they are going to Heaven soon?

Yes, 3:17 obviously wasn't completely coherent but I guess I made the mistake figuring people would understand that I was trying to trace back to 'good people'. I was talking in essence to both, the agnostic and atheist. And yes, my argument is definitely a twist of pascal's wager. Just people you can identify it's name doesn't make the argument unsupported.

You are a colossal idiot. From the very beginning of this video your argument flopped. If you have a limited amount of gasoline you would value your gasoline more than if you have an infinite amount because you would understand that when it ran out you wouldn't have it anymore. That is the most basic of basic economics. And Pascal's Wager has no value to me because I am already convinced that when I die I am going to be unconscious... which makes my eternal afterlife worth nothing.

And yet you could have raped children, killed 100 people, but ask for forgiveness god lets you into heaven. Be a good person your whole life, spend your time helping others, but don't believe in god, go to hell. Seems to me if heaven was even real I'd rather go to hell.
