  • Fillet fail... why the hell did you take the head off you goon....you made a 20 second process into a staggering 5 minute endeavor... you may be able to cook it, but please let someone who knows what they are doing fillet the fish

  • That blue has more brains then you and it doesn't have a fucking head.

  • @Hanley71 The process he went through would be called and in-depth explanation. No need to be so feisty. He obviously is doing better than you anyway. <3

  • You can get more meat without fillet this fish. You can even cook the head in a stew with some vegetables...

  • @griseum

I bet wherever you are form you can't hunt worth a damn.

I would have to teach you how to not be a complete idiot out in the forest...unless you are from Scandinavia...Southern Germany..or possibly Russia. Most people in USA are land-locked. so yes. People need this video....asshole!

  • is this video for idiots or what? you americans really need to be teached how to cut a fish?

  • Great little video lesson Chef. What knife is that it looks like maybe a ux10? well i hope to be eating at your restaurant next week and i cant wait. keep up all the great work.

  • wow, Well said and nicely articulated. I do my fare share of bluefish butchering and i think you have got it spot on as to how this should be filleted. Not to criticize you or anything, but i would also mention to take out the dark meat as this makes the overall taste a bit less fishy. Good job on the video Chef :)

  • thank you!! :)

  • Good videos. I'm going fishing on a charter boat for blues and stripers in a few days. I've always had the mates fillet them, but this boat doesn't do that. It should be fun to see how I do with filleting myself for the first time.
