On December 29, 2011, a few friends and I headed up to Northeastern Pennsylvania to spend a day along Norfolk Southern's Reading and Lehigh Lines. However, after hearing that NS SD50 #5425 "CRQ" was going to be leading local H75 back toward Bethlehem, PA, we tossed the mainline railroading out the window, and headed into the countryside. Starting in the town of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, we'll work our way back towards Bethlehem, catching the Conrail-blue-lead H75 at seven locations. This engine is one of only 28 locomotives left on Norfolk Southern's roster to wear Conrail blue paint. It is expected that this locomotive will be retired very soon, and placed into Norfolk Southern's SD40E rebuild program -- which feeds on SD50's. There are only nine SD50's remaining in service on Norfolk Southern, and 5425 is one of them.

Nice one. I think you definitely made the right decision here, you can get mainline action anytime, but who knows if you can ever get the opportunity to lens a quality move like this again, the time of the Fightin' Fifties is unfortunately running out. Usually the fans have nothing but bad things to say about low track speeds, but in this case they were a GODSEND.
