The Heritage Foundation chose to profile him as part of Protect America Month, which showcases why we must commit to protecting the United States in an increasingly dangerous world.

Don't build and don't shape the military for past wars. Shape and equip them for the future threats and wars. To cut the military to pre WWI levels or worse is irresponsible because the world of today and even more the world of tomorrow isn't anymore that calm and peaceful as it was 20 years ago.
