  • Nice to hear them singing together and not struggling against each other in this recording, maybe the best rendition of them singing together. Says a lot for the benefits and the contribution of amateur recording.

  • Feeling a little nostalgic for Kate's voice, I stumbled on this tonight. I was at this show in 2007. What an amazing moment this was. I cried from the first note to the last of this song when they played it live, and cried again tonight. Thank you so much for posting this.

  • This was sung and played by the entire Transatlantic sessions band in belfast last Thursday in Kate's honour ... one of the most moving tributes I've ever seen.

  • I just reviewed a few of their performances singing this song throughout the world and must say this one is their best. Thanks for posting it. The sound quality is amazing too.

Emmylou Harris sang the song at Kate's funeral this week. It was our turn to bid farewell to Kate.

  • Kate and Anna.. on the first album

rhis song is etched in my mind forever.

Be well lovely lady, you continue....

  • Thanx Kate for an awsome musical past.

  • Very sad day. Thank you Kate for your great songs.

with you all the way with your comment - I met her Kate once and while she was not much older than me she was like a mom to me in a difficult time of my life - a truly lovely woman and sadly missed

  • Thank you Kate for what you gave us...

    May Her Mermory Be Eternal....

  • I am a huge fan of Ronstadt. She always said this song made her cry and listening to her version(thousands of times!), I could NEVER understand why. Now, I can.
