Children and teens with cancer are often misunderstood. Misunderstood about their appearance, the way they may act, and the way their treatment works. They are often made fun of for having no hair, or nasty rumors are spread about their constant absence in school. When I found this poem, I knew it as the perfect oportunity to address this.
This video was made with the pictures of kids with cancer just being kids. I made however, another video using the same poem with kids and the harsh during times of childhood cancer. I hope this helps people understand the many children and teens battling cancer.
