Duke, a 4-year-old Flat Coated Retriever mix, is a very energetic guy who loves to play fetch. After a good day of playing, he's also more than happy to snuggle up on the couch next to you.
Duke is a very active guy and he benefits from our Foster Care Program whenever he needs a break from the shelter. Duke's foster family have this to say about him: "Duke is such a lovable dog. All he wants to be is near you, be an active apart of the family and play. He holds your hand when he needs closeness and speaks when his bowl is empty."
To learn more about Duke, come visit him at the Seattle Humane Society at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue, visit us online at seattlehumane.org, call us at (425 )649-7563 or email adoptions@seattlehumane.org.
As with all of our dogs, Duke has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior courses -- a great way to start off on the right paw!
