Broken Xbox 360 problem - no video with sound

The green light goes on and sound works but there is no picture! Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks to everyone's questions and comments, people have given a lot of good alternatives on how to fix this problem.
But, what really works?!

XBOX 360 has to be the crappiest console on earth..every time i fix mine it stops working 3 days later. after a while...cracking it open, for the eleventh time become redundant

just get a ps3, even a used one is more reliable than a brand new 360, xbox 360's are only good for the 1st couple of years or even months and then they all start having ridiculous problems, no point in waisting time and money on a 360, ps3 is the way to go, ull never experience lame ass problems like this

the best size is about a 12-18inch hd tv.(computer moniter is the best)

I just reread my post and i definitely wasn\t clear. I meant that i had an arcade at my DADS ouse that broke, and the slim one at my moms is fine but I like playing at my dads better :P

Same thing happened to me. I have a slim at my moms house (Divorced parents) but I like playing at my dads better... so now half the time i don't get one. Awesme.

@EkkoGaming That sucks so bad! I'm surprised this problem still occurs with the slim. I hope you can fix this problem before Skyrim comes out!
