I always wondered why hammer throwers had a buffalo hump.

cut the grass lol, great video

i hate Nevada its illegal here but i want to do it so bad.
-
also leaning foward takes away for the sitting back of the throw. you can't throw the hammer far without sitting back against it.

Hi Rande. I turn to the left being right handed, I keep falling forward by my 3rd turn, although i feel i am staying upright, any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey i always have this problem of leaning forward and folding throughout my throw although with me i think it's more to do with the fact I don't have enough core strength to keep myself "upright".
Im sure people have noticed but I can't believe how male technique and female technique for hammer throwing differ from one another, just something I noticed recently that i found interesting!

Mathematically, a 45 degree angle is the best launch angle. How that translates into the real world is arguable.

Because he's 45 years old and talking and throwing at the same time.
But I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
