hey cvjarot! i guess you meant 28° celsius or 82° fahrenheit. if it was 28° fahrenheit that would be below 0° celsius and that would mean that the tonle sap lake and the mekong river and all your water-pipes would just freeeeeeeeeze to ice.... as here in europe! and you don´t really want to know how cold that is ;o) peace!

I prefer hot weather than cold weather too. It's troublesome putting on so many layers of clothes to ward off the cold. Great teaching! I'm not Cambodian but I'm trying to pick up the Khmai language to communicate with the orphanage children and the surrounding village people. By the way, how do you say 'Merry Christmas' in Khmai?

After another week of -18 celsius in my place, I reminded myself about what you talked in this video :( Cambodian weather is so wonderful - today I set up my forecastfox weather tool to Siem Reap and it showed 27 celsius, and only that much because it's already night there :) And for tomorrow, it predicts 35 celsius :) Actually, it's going to be cloudy, so even this 35 is not much :) I wish I could be in Cambodia right now, but at least I keep learning the language :)

Hi @AddictNANA yeah sure! First you wont have any problem taking their pictures at all. Cambodian people love having their pictures taken! So here are some phrases you might want to use:

May I take a picture: Some taught muay (Some as in Home)

Smile big: ñor ñim Tom Tom

Say Cheese: Ta cheese

Look at me: merl mok kñom

Look at the Camera: merl mok kamara

very pretty: s-aat nas lets take another one: some taught muay teat

Stand over here: chor trong nis

@cvjarot i see - now i understand why u freezing ;o) it´s just because i know ppl in asia who think +20° celsius is cold *lol*.... and they never saw snow!
