  • nice active garden!

  • Good looking garden....that frog was pretty cool!

  • Awesome Garden!!! Where's the 2009 updated??? :)

  • Might be worth putting in a pond to attract more frogs and keep the pests down.

  • aww that was a cute frog

  • My garden goes through strange stages sometimes and I've had the exact same problem as your garden last year. The smaller plants and bloom drop is nitrogen deficiency. Even though you added compost, if it wasn't totally broken down and cooked, it could be sucking up the nitrogen until it finishes breaking down and then will release it.....too late for the garden this year though. I have to take my hat off to your corn! Holy cow that's amazing! congratulations on some fantasic corn!

  • The tomato bloom drop and pepper plants can be easily cured by giving them a good side dressing of composted manure. It's safe and so easy to use and keeps you away from using chemicals. If you have compost left over from your compost pile you can use that or buy a few bags of composted manure. Spread it in a ring around each plant to a diameter of a foot and about an inch deep or so. And keep the plants watered. In about a couple weeks they should kick into gear. Great vid by the way! Thanks.

  • Have you tried inorganic/chemical fertilizer? Mulching can help warm the soil if its too cold.

  • Great looking garden overall! The frog on the zuchinni was really cool. I've grown a garden for many years and I don't think I've ever seen a frog in it *anywhere*. I've seen a couple of snakes though:) OMG, you're going to have a million cucumbers!
