  • beynon5 for your ref its not a fake its an epiphone les paul custom, and if you listen to the track close enough assuming you have the musical ability to you will hear a second track which are playing bar chords and as i said earlier i choose to play it that way so people who dont have 2 guitiarists in there band can get the fullest sound.

  • If you listen to the track there are 2 guitar parts playing one is playing open chords the other is playing barre chords. I just choose to play the barre chords because in a band situation with only one guitar they sound fuller, the chords are still the same just different positions.

  • from listening to the song i think on the looped d d cccbbbaa bit it is actually cccbbbcc x 3 then the last one is ccc bbb aa g but otherwise thanks for the lesson matey , oh also might be worth mentioning for anyone else thats trying to work this song out that on the second time round on the slow bit its E then pull of and tap from 12 to 10 on e string then its d shape with the open little E

  • Excellent vid many thanks.

  • thanks mate you really helped i got it now taar again

  • cool sound cool video.very helpful.thank you

  • thanks for the tut it really helped i could play along after like 19 mins of practice :) subbed

  • Hey, the way you play it probably sounds better for an electric guitar version, or if you were playing it in a very 'rocky' manner, and its the backing for the song in live performances. But Kelly's part is G B C, and on the C its alternates from 0 3 2 0 1 0 to 0 3 2 0 0 0. Thats how i would play it, especially on an acoustic.

Nice job though, I like it.

  • u can play dude sounds better unplugged in my opinion av a look a the phonics playing this on live lounge tour Mr jones plays it his way and you cant argue with that as its his tune there is a lift of/hammer on keep strumming mate

  • Yeah i saw the 2 screws at the bottom likethe fakes have...sorry it was just a thought...yeah you can hear them both...but playing open you get the fuller sound cos you have more ring to it..when kelly is live its open chords he uses...btw im on about before adam becoming part of it..like at morfa when they had 1 guitar...i play in a band with one guitar and open gives a warmer sound rather than the bared one which makes the notes more prominent...but open i use cos its sounds ore like the song

  • Wrong ! and fake les paul by the looks of it :L ....the chords arnt bar ...its jus G 320003 ...B MINOR!! 004432 and C 032010 you can see the chords in the vid for the song
