Why not set the instrument's track output to the chosen buses..? What's the advantage of this method?
-
I've tried this, but why don't I get a level reading on the audio tracks when I play? It's only when I record that I get a reading and even this is low and I have to use the Bus fader to boost the signal. It would help to be able to set levels before I have to record, hearing and seeing the audio as you would if a 'live' instrument was playing.

@metalupyourass9 Hi. Not sure if there's a native Audio to MIDI conversion tool in Pro Tools. You can use third party software like Melodyne which is great at converting audio to midi. I'll send you a link to a tutorial on how to do so.

Thanks for the tutorial! Question, what are you using to create those motion graphics? After Effects or Motion? Looks great!

@kojaknyc Hi. The intro graphics were in fact created with After Effects. Thanks for watching! Glad you dig the look and hopefully your finding the content resourceful as well. Let us know if you have any video suggestions by writing to us at Questions@WinkSound(dot)com
