Digitalisms by Zn'shñ (Elvire Bastendorff & Franck Smith). Recorded in Paris, April 2009. Contents : digitalisms, minimal electronics, click & glitch soundtrack production w/ 2 TENORI-ON(s), Sherman Filterbank 2, Benfox Dual tone generator, Benfox BEN HF, Moog Bass Murf + digital manipulations via Korg Kaoss Pad KP3 — • Official blog of Zn'shñ : http://znshn.blogspot.com IF POSSIBLE USE HEADPHONES OR CONNECT YOUR COMPUTER TO A QUITE DECENT SOUND-SYSTEM.
N.B.- According to a fictitious etymology, the term Zn'shñ signifies: the gleam of dark colours. Deliberately antithetic and intentionally enigmatic, Zn'shñ is enthused by Butoh iconography, Japanese Gagaku aesthetic and Tibetan rituals codification. Operating as a dual electronic unit (mulit-instrumentalis/composer Franck Smith and artist/sound-activist Elvire Bastendorff), Zn'shñ deepens some very specific works around digital phonocrafting and noise manufacturing.

Hey kids, fun game! Let's spot the gear!
2x Tenori On (these are the white touch pads with white lights)
1x Korg Kaoss Pad v3 (Korg KP-3, this is the black touch pad with red lights)
1x Moog MurF (MF-105 or MF-105M, the black box with a parametric EQ just left of the center of the frame)
1x Moog Analog Delay (MF-104Z, this could be a 12 stage phase, it's hard to tell them apart visually -- MF-103, the black box on the far right of the frame)
What do you recognize?

It is supposed to be "noise manufacturing" (as they defined it) and yes it is really good for people who like "sound art" or whatever you call it. Cheers!
