@sliverson2114 There's a difference between a SCIENTIFIC theory, and the way "theory" is applied in everyday use, i.e. a speculation, a guess. You completely sink yourself by showing you don't understand that all science is "theory", including the science that you use everyday. Talk about something you'll never understand...

Just remember evolution is just a theory. Creation could be a theory too. People get way to fixated on ideas they can not prove. (Yes, I am a Christian too. I am just tired of arguing a point you will never understand.)

@HaydnRocker Short answer: Look up "polystrate fossil" on Wikipedia.
Long answer: The fossils you're describing don't extend through millions of years' worth of strata, but are in sedimentary basins and other places where sediment accumulates rapidly. Geologists don't consider polystrate fossils anomalous in any way, and wizards are not required in order to explain them.
