  • 2sinθcosθ=sin2θ

    It's one of the double angle formula.

    Basic trigonometry people!

  • @dalcde you could not combine those two terms because they are unlike terms. it would be like saying 4x+4y=8y You can't just throw x out the window and its the same with this, you can't just throw cos out the window. However, if it were (sinx^2)+(cosx^2), you could simplify this to 1 because it is an identity.

  • @Taowhr It's the same (perhaps you misunderstood my meaning of the equation)

  • @dalcde, it's actually d(θ) = s²sin2θ/g

  • Could I simplify cosθsinθ into sin2θ, and d(θ) = s^2/g(sin2θ)?
