  • bit of a mix up of terminology. The political correctness you refer to has to do with prejudicial stances, remarks and actions that are without merit, the one giggswannabe refers to is politicians acting in a way becoming of a politician. Keating's willingness to offend his own supporter base on principle is something Rudd and indeed Howard would dare not do.

  • Rudd isnt even half the orator as Keating...Rudd has fallen into the trap of extreme political correctness set up by the Howard Govt

I simply cant stand Rudd for his bland speech despite his essentially good promises which inadvertently sound hollow due to his oration and personality in general. Man does australia need a true bloke to lead the nation..enough with these Sensitive New age guys

  • @giggswannabe what a load of crap - how on earth was howard EVER politically correct? the brilliant reforms of the hawke keating era that howard continued cast a huge shadow over rudd who looks insignificant. he's a nothing prime minister, like all the premiers we've had who dont do anything and ruin the economy.

  • hawke still hates keating passionately it's strong and lasting

  • always remember labor is an organism its real its like a family theryle be a fight itl ll an argument its cool it aint abt money unless the family gets hurt then theryll be ashitfight

  • it's sad -he has lost everything his pm his party his mate Hawkie his wife his kids

  • You're a dope. Political correctness was promulgated by Keating and rejected by Howard. Go learn yourself a book.

  • Thanks for sharing. I have to agree with Wilatjean, really want to see more of Paul. I think he is the greatest PM in Australia.
