This in just a little bit on insecurities some horses have..

Because of the level of experience needed "Hybrid Horsemanship" techniques are specifically aimed at trainers and not for the average or beginner horse person.

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!
I am a trained, well respected, professional with 20 plus years of experience and even then sometimes I get my butt hurt. My videos are for entertainment purposes only and are not intended for training nor should be replaced for a professional trainer.
Hybrid Horseman, Paul Williamson or Endospink, will not be responsible for any injuries incurred after viewing his videos or web site and trying this at home. ENDO SAYS: RIDE RESPONSIBLY, WHEN YOU ARE ENJOYING YOUR HORSES, USE PROTECTIVE GEAR!

P.S., Please stop asking, NO, the TAP does not work on your mother-in-law.

  • The owner of the horse needs to learn how to approach the horse. The horse here, is reacting to the owners body language and sensing danger. Horses do not get less frightned by you showing them an object, rather they gain confindence from relaxed body language. The owner is tense, hense the horse is tense. Great video showing this.

  • He "WAS" our farrier..lol

  • Oh, so now it's the jacket, is it? Wait, what jacket? The white shirt the farrier is wearing? Surely we could never expect a horse to react calmly to farriers wearing shirts! From now on, all racehorses will be ridden by topless riders....

  • My horse was like this is really sad to see a horse like this 3 years of having him anyone can do like anything with him :D

I learned not to give up.

  • I don't think I have ever seen such a timid farrier. Confidence is key. That horse definitely read that guy as being a DUMBO!

  • this horse dont like japaneese :D:D

  • I had a horse like this.......she required a cocktail and a brave farrier....not stupid animals, I would be a scared farrier too!

  • expurt village ..hehehehh

  • this handler was great, kudos to you! The guy in the white shirt has no business being around horses... that is obvious! My QH could care less who is around her, My TB is very picky, if you dont know what you are doing, she will school you QUICK. My trainer calls her persnickity.. I call it trust! :)

  • He is awful to watch this man in the white shirt, and the horse looks like it recognice him and now whats next

  • oh my good what had he done with his horse?? it´s so afraid of him....

  • Notice how calm the horse is when the video poster walks up to him? That's because he has a calm, no-nonsense attitude. The second man is obviously afraid of the horse, and is behaving unpredictably. Any horse would be nervous about that!

  • hahaha
