I was in the stadium during the game: the two teams are simply stupids and for O'driscoll, it's for all this career (good player but a bitch in the life)

That is an amazing idea. Pending the US and Canada Catching up to Argentinian rugby.

Yeah, and he can get away with it cos he has friends in the right place. I'm more worried about the future of Irish rugby: not enough young players are staying with the game only a handful of last years under 18 school champions are still playing.

give us americans a bit. i bet well do much better in the 2011 rwc. im tired of my country puting so much emphisis on "our" football, which the rest of the world does not give a shit about. its embarrassing to watch usa rugby get trampled by teams such as Tonga....

Too right, the golden age for Irish rugby ended just before the world cup. Hope i'm proved wrong for the 2008 six nations.

yeah, me too... the way i see it is that it can go either way; we are definitely the most settled/experienced team so we could use that (along with motivation from last year's debacle) to finally win the championship... or, we could be badly caught on the hop (yesterday's players, yesterday's team, yesterday's coach, etc, etc)
im very worried that EOS is still getting the selection wrong (far too conservative), but then again the IRFU dont seem to leave him a lot of leeway!

Also Ulster and Leinster have been under performing lately so most players will be selected from Munster. Still, i don't think O'Sullivan has any excuse for Ireland to lose to Italy at Croke Park this Saturday. If Ireland lose, nothing 'll change cos O'Sullivan and the IRFU are too cosy.

nothing will change;
- if we lose he can't make changes for the Paris game, he'll stick with the same players (maybe a sacrificial lamb)
- if we win, there's no pressure to put in the form players who really should be in already
regardless of results/form he always sticks with the same guys and is loath to make changes based on merit/form
makes sense if we were the winning the 6nations every year
makes f*ck all sense when we remain the nearly-men
