These brand new football boots are not just visually striking, but they are packed with a host of performance technology. The Nike T90 Laser III have evolved the boot range from the Laser II, by adding new swerve fin technology and instep pods for kicking accuracy, shape correction foam, lighter weight material, a new lacing system and an updated sockliner.

On this new Electric Green colourway, we concede they might not be to everybody's liking, but you cannot deny these boots are going to be visibile from even the top tiers at Camp Nou and Old Trafford. Combine this with the huge T90 wordmark across the heel -which reminds us of the emphatic "Nike" used on the retro Tiempo series. Add to this the Red Instep Pods that are a stand-out feature and instantly catch the eye. These flexible and flat five pod ShotShield ensures even pressure on the ball at impact for accuracy, further helped by the shape correction foam. The Instep Pods are designed to be flat to your foot, to create even pressure distribution when shooting the ball with accuracy, and their longitudinal and flexible design accommodates an enlarged kicking area.

Complimenting the Instep Pods are strategically angled and raised Fins, to create friction and increased ball spin for shooting and passing. Each fin is positioned at a different angle and a different height (0-3mm), to enable the player to control the swerve ball in multi-directional ways depending on how the player kicks the ball, for better ball spin and kicking accuracy.

The Nike theory applied to designing the new ShotShield is to not just "put the ball where you want it", but to also "put the ball there how you want it". Wearing the new Nike T90 Laser III football boots, a player has the choice of utilising the powerful instep or curling the ball with spin. And this technology was applied, tested and developed through Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL) studies!

The upper material of the new Nike T90 Laser III football boots will be available in either Premium Lightweight Teijin synthetic leather or Soft Kangaroo leather, and both will have Nike's Kanga-lite material underneath the ShotShield - as featured on the Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots. Both boots weigh the same at 328 grams, which is 18g lighter than the Laser II for the synthetic uppers and 24g lighter for the K leather versions (coming in the new year).

At the fore area of the boots is a layer of shape correction foam, this thin layer of Memory Foam is strategically placed over the first metatarsal and tongue area to help even out the instep bone structure for better kicking accuracy. Further enhanced by the new lateral lacing system, combined with the alternate eyelet holes creating a cleaner kicking surface. The tongue top slit and side lacing also help to alleviate the pressure on your instep, whilst allowing your foot to slip into the boots easier.

The Nike T90 Laser III football boots have a lightweight TPU outsole, with the studs positioned to give the structural reinforcement and traction you need on all playing surfaces. And the redesigned heel counter provides external Lateral Support to lock the heel, but also help the planting foot to stabilise when kicking the ball.

Comfort and fit comes from the Moulded Sockliner with Poron inserts incorporated for extra cushioning, and the surface texture of the sockliner and boot collar has been updated for optimal stickiness, to protect your foot from slippage and rubbing.

The new Nike T90 Laser III football boots are a visually stunning boot, designed to meet the players performance needs through innovative technology and advancements. We're already excited about seeing the soccer shoes make their official debut, with Nike ambassadors Fernando Torres and Wayne Rooney set to be just two of the players to keep an eye out for.

Set to explode onto pitches worldwide from 12th December, you can get your feet into a pair at the same time as the pro's thanks to our good friends at Pro-Direct Soccer! The new T90s are available to order NOW for around £130 GBP.
