can you use javascript, jquery or whatever programming language to create an image preloader for content or image like facebook?

For example, if I want to load a big size image, instead of showing a blank page, it show preloader until the image is completely load.Thanks

Thats so simple and realy nice, i was trying to learn jquery validation tutorial.. i have watched alot of youtube videos but this is something realy simple and realy helping.. now i learn jquery validation.. now i can make my own... Hi, thanks for the intro, I was having script conflicts so I went back to basics to solve it. Really nice and easy tut. I just found something on IE though, it reads the commas after the required:true, but before the } as an error in the code. After I changed this--- name: {required:true,} ---- to -----name: {required:true} it all worked out fine. not sure if you also encountered this issue. Cheers

great video. can you also show us how to validate the rows that are dynamically added or deleted based on user's requirements.

each row has about 3 input fields.
